Exciting news! Our friends in the Austin Food Blogger Alliance have put together their very own cookbook! The cookbook features 70 unique recipes developed by the members of the Austin Food Blogger Alliance. The recipes integrate each blogger’s own heritage with the unique culture of Austin, Texas. Original photographs and essays contributed by the bloggers share some of the many reasons why Austin is loved by so many.

If you are as excited as I am to own this small piece of Austin’s culinary history, you can help out by taking part in the cookbook’s presale. The campaign will run through March 31st and will assist in making sure that copies of the cookbook can grace bookstores all across Austin. Proceeds will benefit the community growth of the AFBA. (AFBA is a 501(c)7 nonprofit, and in addition to social and educational events, they also have a strong philanthropic arm – last year they raised more than $4,000 for Bake a Wish!)
