oxo cookie press holiday giveaway
One of the sweetest gifts of traveling home for the holidays is being able to bake alongside my mother. She had fun showing off how easy it was to make Almond Spritz Cookies using her OXO Cookie Press that I convinced her to buy earlier this year.
If you haven’t noticed, I have had more than my fair share of fun this year with my OXO Cookie Press. It is so easy to use, quick to clean, and their assortment of disks is a never-ending source of cookie inspiration. I am so excited to tell you that the kind folks at OXO want you to have as much fun as I have had by giving away their Cookie Press and Autumn Disk Set to one lucky reader!
If you win, you’ll have all the tools needed to make each of these delicious recipes and more!
1. Alfajores Spritz Cookies // 2. Baby Owl Spritz Cookies // 3. Spooky Spider Chocolate Spritz Cookies // 4. Maple Spritz Cookies // 5. Peppermint Bark Snowflake Spritz Cookies // 6. Cheddar Spritz Crackers // Almond Spritz Cookies (Top)
We’ll be closing the giveaway at 11:59PM EST on Tuesday, December 24 so that we can announce the winner on Wednesday, December 25 – just in time to spread some holiday cheer! Prizes will be shipped after the new year. Good luck!
Thank you so much!
Hello I just got this cookie press and I have been reading that I should put them on an ungreased baking pan. I am wondering though won’t they get stuck to the pan when I bake them? Or get stuck when I take them off? Thanks
Hi Amanda! I have to laugh because this was an annual debate between me and my grandmother. :) She stood firm on the ungreased baking pan side and I can tell you they don’t stick. There’s enough shortening/butter in the recipes to help press them through the Cookie Press that you don’t have to worry about sticking. I will say that the bottoms may get slightly darker than on a silpat or parchment paper, but definitely not dark. Also, it can be tricky to get the hang of pressing the cookies on to slicker surfaces like a silpat, but ultimately that’s my preference. These are fairly forgiving cookies so you should have beautiful results whichever method you choose! Enjoy your new press!! :)
