luck of the irish pistachio milkshakes
This March we’re sharing a cool KRAFT recipe for these Luck of the Irish Pistachio Milkshakes that are just perfect for celebrating St. Patrick’s Day!
March marks such a lovely month of transition after the beginning of the year as we gear up for spring and look forward to warmer months. I love to incorporate cheerful spring colors into my decorating and warm up my surroundings as the cold temperatures of winter linger a bit longer. As silly as it seems, I also tend to long for ice cream during the colder months and adore cozying up to a warm fire with a festive milkshake. I love how these cheerful Luck of the Irish Pistachio Milkshakes appeal to all senses.
The Pistachio Flavor JELL-O Instant Pudding Mix makes the prettiest shade of green when blended into milkshakes. Add a dollop of whipped cream and a dash of bright sprinkles and you’ve got the perfect drink to welcome spring. Thinking about hosting a St. Patrick’s Day party? These are so easy to make for a crowd! Just blend batches as guests are ready to enjoy or make several batches ahead of time and keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
These Luck ‘o the Irish Milkshakes are the perfect ending to a delicious meal of Irish recipes. Whether celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, pairing with a festive family dinner or cozying up by the fire they’re sure to please even the pickiest leprechauns!

I’d love to try but like the person above, the recipe doesn’t say how much milk.
Apologies, I did not realize that was omitted. I have contacted them to update the recipe. You’ll need 2 cups of milk.
I have a question about the recipe, which I saw on the Kraft site. The “Make It” secttion of the recipe indicates to put milk, pudding mix and ice cream in blender. Milk isn’t listed in the ingredients. Is it just the amount of milk used for the pudding recipe?
Apologies, I did not realize that was omitted. I have contacted them to update the recipe. You’ll need 2 cups of milk.
It does not say how much milk to use in the recipe. Everything else is there……so how much milk?????
Apologies, I did not realize that was omitted. I have contacted them to update the recipe. You’ll need 2 cups of milk.
I love this! I’ve been on a pistachio kick for the past few years. It all started with the most divine pistachio gelato in San Diego. Now I’m loving all things pistachio! This milkshake would be a huge hit around here for St. Patty’s day!
Love it! I’m obsessed with all things pistachio – definitely like this better than the typical mint shakes you see around this time of year!
How much milk?
Hi Debbie – the recipe link is posted at the end of the post. It will give you all the exact measurements. Hope you enjoy!

Thank you! Looking forward to serving these on St. Patrick’s day.
Amen to flavoring your milkshake with pistachio versus the typical mint, Kimberly! And your photos, as usual, are beautiful. An early happy St. Pat’s to you!
Love this fun recipe! Pistachio is such an underused flavor and sounds so delicious in a milkshake. Great St. Patty’s day treat!
