mason jar valentines
Small mason jars filled with festive trail mix are a uniquely sweet way to spread love this Valentine’s Day.
MASON JAR VALENTINES
Yields: twelve 4-ounce mason jars, adjust as needed
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups assorted nuts
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 2 cups Valentine M&Ms
- 1 cup white yogurt chips
PREPARATION
- Mix well and store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
- Use any assortment of nuts, fruit and candy you wish. Get creative!
PACKAGING
4-ounce quilted Ball mason jars perfectly hold a half cup of trail mix.
A 2 inch Fiskars circular punch cuts out the perfect sized tag for the top of each jar.
For a more feminine look, slip a 6 inch doily between the lid and the outer tightening band.
Finish each jar with a piece of ribbon tied around the band.

Mason Jars can be found online and in a variety of retail stores. These were purchased in a flat of twelve at our local Ace Hardware.
