We don’t usually celebrate Mardi Gras but I think that if I made these my little ones would want to do it every year!
I don’t crave sweet – but I CERTAINLY AM NOW! OMFG! YUM!
Such a simple idea – I love it! I’m originally from New Orleans so I try to celebrate Mardi Gras here in Texas even though I’m away. This is a great easy way to bring a little of the fun home.
Mom (living in Texas) sends us a Lafayette King Cake out to California each year, but this is perfect for the cravings after the last slice is gone! Sounds like we’ve got some similar roots, can’t wait to read more of your blog! :)
Looks so colourful and delicious. Thanks for sharing.
Oh, these are so fun! And I love that they are doable for those who may not be up for making a King Cake. Fantastic idea.
How fun! And they look so pretty. :)
what a cute, creative and simple idea!
I think this is a great idea. I mean, I’m not selfish or anything (of course…), but it’s always nice to get your own mini-cake, no? You could just hide the small plastic baby in one of them when you pass them out at a party.
Always a plus when you don’t have to share! Love the idea of throwing the baby in just one of them. We may or may not eat these for breakfast (totally acceptable in our house) so the baby usually resides on top for comic relief to start the day. :)
they look great!
