Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed, to me:
I lift my lamp beside the golden door. ― Emma Lazarus

The Statue of Liberty was top of my list on must see sights while on my first visit to New York City. Due to last minute planning, the Crown Tours were already sold out and because you can only tour once every six months, I didn’t want to just tour the base in the event that I find myself back in the city sometime soon. Good thinking as I’ve already been out here for three more weeks since that initial visit! Per the fabulous recommendation of a NYC native and fellow blogger, I took the Circle Line full circle tour of NYC. This was an absolutely fabulous way to get amazing views of Lady Liberty as well as a complete overview and history of the city.
