tully’s iced hawaiian coffee

Smooth coconut milk, sweet brown sugar and bold Tully’s Hawaiian Blend Coffee transform your everyday iced coffee into a delightful way to brighten your early morning routine.

In 2011, Tully’s Coffee developed the Gathering Grounds™ program as a way to bring people together to collaborate for the greater good. San Diego locals are fortunate to see their very own Butterfly Park transformed this weekend as the sixth project in Tully’s amazing program. To celebrate their event, I have created an iced coffee recipe in hopes of bringing back the gorgeous Southern California weather that we are used to enjoying just in time for a weekend full of festivities. If you are able to help volunteer and join us for the unveiling event on Sunday evening, I will also be sharing a delicious cookie recipe using Tully’s own Hawaiian Blend Coffee.

PRESS RELEASE
Hundreds of local volunteers will come together to kick-off a much-anticipated revitalization project in San Diego’s Butterfly Park on April 18. The Butterfly Park project falls under a larger effort to restore outdoor space across San Diego and bring neighbors together for positive change. Over the course of the four-day build, local community members will be hard at work laying brick, building a public performance space in the shape of a butterfly wing with amphitheater-style seating, planting greenery and creating intricate mosaic patterns on bench seating, tables and stairways.

The revitalized park will be unveiled at a special culmination event on April 21 where local volunteers and community members will come together over music, food and drink to celebrate the completed project. Pomegranate Center, a nonprofit organization that works with communities to imagine, plan and create shared public places, will lead the restoration with funding and support from various partners including: A Reason to Survive (ARTS) who has overseen program development, funded by the Myron Eichen Memorial Foundation and Rokenbok Foundation both held at The San Diego Foundation, and Tully’s Coffee. The Butterfly Park project is part of the Gathering Grounds™ program, which Tully’s Coffee developed in 2011 as a way to bring people together to collaborate for the greater good.
