6 Inspiring Cookbooks of 2014

2014 was full of great culinary publications – here are six of our favorites just perfect for holiday gifting!

  1. My Paris Kitchen: Recipes and Stories – I had the pleasure of meeting David Lebovitz for his San Francisco book signing and enjoying some amazing confections at Dandelion Chocolate. This book is packed from cover to cover with stunning photography and mesmerizing stories of life in Paris.
  2. Saveur: The New Classics Cookbook: More than 1,000 of the world’s best recipes for today’s kitchen – I believe the title says it all!
  3. Baking Chez Moi: Recipes from My Paris Home to Your Home Anywhere – I spent the most lovely morning at Sur la Table watching Dori Greenspan bake cookies and tell her joyful tales of baking around the globe. This incredible book is filled with Parisian recipes tested to be successful in any kitchen with standard ingredients.
  4. The Skinnytaste Cookbook: Light on Calories, Big on Flavor – I have loved everything that Gina Homolka has created for her blog over the years and have heard nothing but amazing things about her new book!
  5. Artisan Caramels – I have not had a chance to purchase this gem from Sandy Arevalo, but it is easily my most anticipated release of the year. I can’t wait to give her confections a try.
  6. The Oh She Glows Cookbook: Over 100 Vegan Recipes to Glow from the Inside Out – an absolutely stunning collection of vegan recipes from Angela Liddon.
